Samskaras (impressions) are embedded in the subconscious mind.\u00a0An experience in the sense-plane sinks down into the depths of the subconscious mind and becomes there a &#8216;Samskara&#8217;.\u00a0<sup id=\"cite_ref-monierwilliams_1-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-ian_2-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>These\u00a0Samskaras\u00a0manifest as tendency, karmic impulse, subliminal impression, habitual potency or innate dispositions.<sup id=\"cite_ref-ian_2-2\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-stephen2_4-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Thus, Samskaras are guiding principles that are supposed to make life easier. They steer you in the right direction, helping you decide between right and wrong. Through both of these sources, they imbibed various samskaras.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These could be simple things like saying their morning prayers to start the day well, touching feet of all elders, bowing their head in respect in front of a deity, reverence towards one\u2019s guru, reading the holy scriptures, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The best way to introduce these all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinmayaupahar.in\/blog\/2018\/01\/29\/life-leadership-lessons-hanuman\/\"><span style=\"color: blue;\"><u>important life lessons<\/u><\/span><\/a> to the child is practising these themselves. Once you are able to set an example for your child to follow, they will do as you do. This is the secret of how you can teach samskaras to a child.
